PhotonStar LED has completed the full circadian lighting retrofit of a dementia card ward of a hospital in London, using PhotonStar's proprietary halcyon wireless lighting control system and and halcyonLIFE LED luminaires.

Halcyon install at 3 storey multi tenant office

Halcyon wireless controls and PhotonStar LED luminaires have been installed in a large 3 storey multi tenant office. The halcyon control system and over 500 nodes were retrofitted into the office to deliver maximum energy savings and improve the lighting features for the three tenants.

Do you remember why PhotonStar didn't send Christmas cards last year?
Last christmas, instead of sending out christmas cards, we gave a "christmas gift" to a local family in need by donating LED luminaires for the renovation of their home. This renovation was organised and filmed for the BBC1 home renovation series 'DIY:SOS' and the episode will air tonight (Tuesday 8th October) at 9pm on BBC 1.

Wellesley Hotel Project

Originally a famous London jazz venue, the divine Wellesley Hotel opened its expensive doors last month following a £36 million building refurbishment which included the installation of PhotonStar LED luminaires.

Scandic Grand Central Hotel, Stockholm

The Scandic Grand Central, Stockholm’s most talked about hotel, opened in November 2011 following a large redesign on the Grand City Palace.

Romsey Dental Care

Romsey Dental Care, situated on Station Road, is an award-winning, ultra-modern dental practice and cosmetic studio. With an ethos about providing exceptional customer service, the practice gained recognition of their high standards in 2009 with the British Dental Association (BDA) Good Practice Award; and more awards followed.

Arcola Theatre

In an attempt to become the world’s first carbon-neutral theatre, the Arcola Theatre in Hackney has recently undergone a complete refurbishment. A key element of the renovation was to install high quality LED lighting supplied by PhotonStar.

Didn’t receive a Christmas card from us this year?

PhotonStar has chosen not to send paper Christmas cards this year as part of our sustainability policy - but it is not "greenwash". We chose, along with other local companies and volunteers, to give a Christmas “gift” to a local family instead. Sustainability is, we believe, also about supporting the local community that you live in. Whilst we continue to create more and more UK based jobs, at this “time of goodwill to all men” the money that we would have spent sending on cards was spent on helping a very deserving family in Fareham at Christmas time.
